5/1/23 Jamaica Recap & Photos

After a much-needed break, I am back to the charts and ready to tackle the markets once again. Last week, I spent most of my time in Jamaica and it was an unforgettable experience. However, the journey was not as smooth as I expected. It involved 2 flights and a 2-hour shuttle ride, which was quite tiring. Next time, I will consider hiring private transportation to make the trip more comfortable.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Konoko Falls, where I climbed a 300ft waterfall. This experience taught me valuable lessons that are applicable to trading. One of them is to slow down as rushing may lead to an error. Another is to stick to the plan even when things don't look like you expected. I also learned to step only where I can see and trust my intuition to execute trades.

I also had the chance to go on a glass-bottom boat tour, where I learned about dolphin intelligence compared to other animals. I was fascinated by their brain usage and echo

location skills. The views of coral reef fish and seabottom were breathtaking.

It was no surprise to see blue water in Jamaica, and I am grateful for the opportunity to witness its beauty. I have decided to change my perspective on fitness and will no longer call it working out or going to the gym. Instead, I will be training for my next excursion, which will keep me motivated.

During my trip, I also discovered interesting facts about the local cuisine, which is mostly organic and includes pure meat and fruits. I also evaluated the Jamaican currency situation and sought to understand the exchange rate of 1 to 150. Learning about the culture and society was intriguing and made me appreciate the different perspectives and experiences that the world has to offer.

Overall, my trip to Jamaica was a great way to recharge and reset. I am now ready to apply the lessons I learned to my trading and tackle the markets with renewed energy and focus.
