Today, I want to share a quick update on my trading activities, specifically regarding my Monday strategy. As part of my old Monday rules, I typically focus on scalping until the opening range or initial balance is established. This approach has proved beneficial for me in the past, and it paid off once again today.
Following my rule, I engaged in scalping trades during the early part of the day. I was satisfied with the profits I generated and decided to exit the market. As the day progressed, I patiently waited for any additional setups to develop, but none presented themselves. It's important to recognize when the market is not providing suitable opportunities, and today was one of those days.
After completing my scalping trades, I shifted my attention to other aspects of my trading. Specifically, I took positions on the 100k Funded Engineer live account, which was also mirrored in two 200k evaluations in phase 1 and 2. This allowed me to explore different account types and evaluate my performance across various scenarios.
Additionally, I successfully passed the Forex League 10k challenge with a 5% gain, utilizing the same trade setup. This achievement reinforces the effectiveness of my strategy and provides a sense of accomplishment.
While it may not have been a day filled with multiple trading opportunities, I am satisfied with the results I achieved. Following my Monday rule and being disciplined in my approach allowed me to secure profits and avoid unnecessary risks. It's essential to recognize when the market conditions align with our strategies and capitalize on those opportunities.
As I continue on my trading journey, I remain committed to following my rules, adapting to market conditions, and seeking consistent growth. Each day provides new lessons and opportunities for improvement. Stay focused, stay disciplined, and keep evolving as a trader.
